OpenGD77

Just updated GD77S with new firmware today 6/5/2021 and updated voice files. All the radio will do is say "Settings Update". Appears to be a brick otherwise. Any suggestions?

That's correct. Only the selected TG is heard. The OpenSpot 3 is not a dual timeslot hotspot. I really appreciate your help with this troubleshooting!

Using with an OpenSpot3 and this hotspot uses TG9 to voice announcements. So when TG9 is included in the codeplug and filter is set to none, it should allow for TG9 to come through no matter what contact is selected. I have loaded the latest firmware and software and voice file. However, TG9 announcements still do not come through. So, when I try to transmit to Audio Test or Disconnect, nothing is heard. Do you have any suggestions? Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks and 73!

Nevermind... I figured out an loaded this as a firmware file. Thanks!!

So, this is an .sgl file... Is there something I need to do to load this? My computer says it doesn't recognize the file type.

With the latest firmware updates, the Filter Menu has disappeared from the GD77S. Because of this, only the selected talkgroup can be heard.
