BTW, you wrote that the CPS installed closed itself, that is also weird. Which Windows version are you running ?

So, let me ask few things. Did you tried to re-download the latest firmware (latest beta), and flash it ? Does the "Firmware loader" window title displays '[+DMR]' string ?. Running the manufacturer's firmware/CPS, did you tried to flash a simple codeplug (like 2 channels, one zone, etc), then flash...

It may be that your two radios are on very slightly different frequencies. Most hotspots are excessively fussy about frequency. Do you have a means of comparing the transmit frequency of the two radios? A radio or SDR with a spectrum display would show the difference. You could then use the OpenGD7...
