Hi,
I have tested several combinations:
- old FW, old CPS = APRS works (with known boot srceen & melody faults). APRS TX is shown in the display
- old FW, new CPS = APRS works (with known boot srceen & melody faults). APRS TX is shown in the display
- new FW, new CPS = APRS does not work. No APRS TX screen.

My RT3S has the genuine STM processor. I have tested this with a second RT3S. Same behavior.

HI,

sorry for my nonsens, what I have told. APRS definetely works. I have assigned the FM channel 144.800 to APRS. And I have to select this channel to transmit APRS. My wrong thoughs were, that I can talk on any FM channel and when I press PTT+SK1 the transmitter jumps to the APRS channel and transmits APRS. After that the transceiver jumps back to the previous channel which I have operated before. But this is not the function.

Excuse me for my misunderstandig

Hello!!!
I have always added other satellites to CPS without problems, but in this new version I tried to add another satellite following the new formatting of the satelite file.txt, only that at the time of transferring to the radio the satellite that I added does not appear in the list, I will leave the file here, someone can tell me where I am going wrong. Thanks to the developers for the excellent work.

The file that you provided is the old format. Here is an example of the new format:

Install (or reinstall) the latest version of the CPS. It will overwrite the satellites.txt file in the OpenGD77CPS folder with one that is in the new format.

Btw.

You don't need the spaces

I just put them in to make it easier to read in a text editor

And it's pointless adding more satellites because I checked with Amsat and the ones in the file are the only satellites which are operational and have Keps orbital data available as amatuer satellites

Ok I get it, but I ended up noticing that removing one from the default list and adding another it saves on the radio, I don't know if it's some cps bug, but it seems that the number of satellites is limited to the default list, not being possible to add new satellites. Thanks again for the great job you guys do

When you add a new line at the bottom of satellites.txt make sure to end the line with a carriage return/line feed.

There was a limit of 15 satellites, this will be increased to 25, but there is no more storage space in the radio beyond 25
