Unable to read/program GD-77 using OpenGD77 firmware

Not having any issues with new version of CPS or older Version this end in fact never have.
Running Win7 use a AT868 cable to program GD77 and always connect radio before loading software.
I also use the CPS to Flash Firmware no issues with that either.

maybe its a 64bit issue?

I run 64bit ,and I think the majority of people run 64 bit systems.

I used to have issues not finding the radio before OpenGD77, if i use the Radioddity GD77 cable i get issues. The 868 cable gives no problems maybe some of the issue is due to the cable quality.

hmm, intersting, im not usimg the GD77 cable, I use a MD380 cable, which works great on my 32bit win 7 netboook

So I can confirm that I'm able to read/write the radio. I've downloaded Win10development image for VirtualBox from Microsoft portal, installed last community CPS including driver and can read/write radio without any problem. But I'm still interesting in the root-cause for Czech Windows issue. But for me it's solved at the moment.

Does anyone have any new information on this issue?

I tried it on two machines with the same result. CPS always says "Device not found" during Read / Write and "Failed to open comm port" via OpenGD77 support.

I have read perhaps all topics with this issue and I tried everything. I dont know why, but now its working.

The last system changes i tried:
- uninstall all GD77 (original, open GD77, comunity) software and drivers
- install and switch to US english language on Windows
- install software and drivers (several times)
- switch windows language back to czech language

After all these changes, the COM port still did not work. After a while, it started working without any system or program settings changes.

Unfortunately, I can not identify the cause or advise instructions how to fix it to others.
