Public Beta (2022 01 09)

There is a new public beta available
https://www.opengd77.com/downloads/Publ ... /firmware/
This version does not have any new features, it only contains
* A bug fix for a crash bug if an old voice prompt file has been loaded
* Removal of the "WDT disable" option. Because the option was only to help with testing of the previous versions.
* Addition of Croatian language
Some people still seem to be experiening crash bugs, but neither Daniel or I can reproduce these bugs on our radios, and I think very few people now have the crash bug.
One crash bug seems to be caused by listening to unknown digital signals on Non-Amateur bands, and is currently impossible for us to fix because no one knows what type of digital signal is being received, and we are unlikely to be able to generate such a signal even if we knew what it was.
A few people seem to be experiences crashes / reboots when transmitting, but we have not been able to reporduce this either.
If anyone has crash bugs on DMR Rx, they should make sure they are using the latest CPS and also have updated their DMR ID database.
Its unclear at the moment whether we should designate this Beta as a stable release, if some people still have crash problems with it.
But we are currently unable to reproduce any of the bugs, so its impossible for us to fix things, which don't go wrong for us.
So waiting for 100% stable before we release a "Stable" version, inclduing source code, may never be possible, so we may need to release a 99.9% stable version as "stable"
