New Beta 2024 04 12
Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
It's due to the DM-1701's vertical offset. Fix is on its way.
Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
Is there a seperate download for the TYT MD uv 390 or will this 380 work ?
Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
I think he's asking if the firmware for the MD-UV380 is working for the MD-UV390.
In this case, the answer is yes.

Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
Ok.
I just realised he probably meant the UV 380
Sorry for the confusion

Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
Will this new beta version work with the 10w TYT UV 390 Plus?
Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
Are there any known issues remaining with the build for 10w TYT UV 390 Plus? Or is it fully functional as far as we currently know?
Sorry I'm new to the forum so if this is posted somewhere already I don't know where to look for it.
Cheers

Re: New Beta 2024 04 12
Some people reported problems with screen brightness on their radio, but its not clear whether this is an individual radio, because there are definitely people using the 10W radio with this firmware.
BTW.
The "10W" radio barely produces 10W on 2m and only 8W on 70cm.

Thank you, I'll keep an eye out for any issues with the screen brightness.VK3KYY wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 8:48 pmSome people reported problems with screen brightness on their radio, but its not clear whether this is an individual radio, because there are definitely people using the 10W radio with this firmware.

I appreciate the info, I never expected this radio to make a steady 10 watts, I'd be quite happy even if it could only make 8 on both bands, I just wanted a little more than 5w to make this radio have something else that my other handhelds don't. When it arrives and I get the fw installed I'll post results!
