And the firmware has a non-commercial clause, (which unfortunately everyone ignores), which would make donations incompatible with the spirit of the project

I am sorry for what happened to the OpenGD77 project and I hope it will continue in one way or another.
The only thing I can do right now is to thank Roger, Daniel F1RMB, Alex DL4LEX, Colin G4EML and all the people involved with the project for the excellent work done.

Nice job. I want to flash another GD77 with CPS, but not download, error 404

I used qdmr to read the codeplug from my GD77 running OpenGD77. I haven't tried uploading it yet, as I have no changes to make, but it looks promising. I haven't yet ascertained whether there are significant differences with respect to the OpenGD77 CPS, but it might be worth a try.

In my experience the only big issue with qdmr is the saving of per-channel power settings.
