Sorry
Somehow I saved the file in the wrong encoding
I will revert to the old file and add the new texts again

No worries
I've rechecked all the language files and I only seem to have damaged the german file
I'm trying to fix it now

when does the message occur
can you screengrab the message, as I can't find anywhere in the CPS that contains the text "no connection"
Did you try resetting the settings?
panic over, used my win 10 pc and it read it straight away, need to look at win 7 pc com ports.........

I have not tested on W7 for over a year, because most of my PCs are now running W10-LTSB
However the driver has not changed
