I was adding parts of the US.... 310 ...311.. etc... Takes forever. The RadioID site wants money to generate a CSV... Or I can pick through the total world .CSV and remove everything but USA. In an effort to save people wasted time, has anyone found out if even all off USA will fit on a UV380? If you don't mind sharing your culled DMR CSV database let me know. RadioID = The new QRZ

-w
Depends which radio you are using. The MD-9600/UV380/RT3S/RT90/DM1701 all have 16Mb memory and can store all IDs

Also...

We don't use the download from Radio ID, its not that clean.

We use this curated version

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Conta ... D77_WW.csv

(Look in the DMR ID download screen)

Also if you want 310 - 319 jusy type 31 into the filter

this will get all ID's begining with 31

However depending on what radio your have , this won't fit in all the radios.

If you use the Download Callsign screen, then you can select what radio you and also set the text length and it will calculate whether all callsigns will fit in your radio

There are currently 97036 31* ID's but even using Voice Prompt memory as well as main memory, the GD77 only has space for 90494 callsigns (6 letters only,... No name)

So basically if thats what you want to have in your radio, then you may need to by a radio with more memory, like the ones listed above.

Default when you open "Download Callsign database" in Extras is "RadioId.net" , I have always used that selection without any problem.

I guess that most users use the default selection.

Sometimes I add records from other non-ham lists with "Import CSV" after I have downloaded the radioid.net list and then write to the radio.
But I mirror radioid and other lists so I could create my own merged list and load it either via my own url or use import.

But I also noticed now that the URL "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ContactLists/ContactLists/master/Radioddity/GD77_WW.csv"
is broken, my last working download from that one in my mirror was "13855935 Aug 28 12:02 GD77_WW.csv"

Since I could not find this anyplace else, and do not want to hijack this thread, but is there a "wildcard" setting to download the entire database instead of having to do it one region at a time? This is for a 9600 so I have the memory.

Leave the region filter empty
