New ongoing "Development" version has been created
New ongoing "Development" version has been created
I have uploaded a new "Development" / Unstable version
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 2020.06.28
This can also be downloaded via the firmware loader by selecting the Unstable version option.
So far, this version has 1 bug fix, so that New Contacts can be created in the radio for TGs which have up to 8 digits, instead of the previous limit of 7 digits. Note. The DMR standard only handles 8 digits TG numbers up to 16777215, because of its the DMR protocol data storage size for the TG (Destination ID), of 24 binary bits.
The other change to this version is the removal of what appears to be some unnecessary internal RAM buffer clearing, prior to the transfer of data to and from the C6000 DMR chip.
Not clearing the buffers, takes a bit of load off the CPU, and will generally help the radio run more smoothly, and seems to have had no effect on the operation of my GD-77.
I would appreciate all adventurous users to install this development version, so that the changes to the DMR buffer clearing gets tested by a wide audience.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Thanks Roger.
RX seems to be OK, but i can´t activate my local BM repeater. I have checked my calibration data, no problem at this point.
I will test some older versions tomorrow.
