OpenGD77

Having spent the last few weeks covering large parts of the country assessing the feasabilty of revamping the Code Plug to make better use of the Roaming firmware, it became abvious that splitting the Zones into Digital and Anolouge would not work, as some of the distances between repeaters were to great, instead i plan to look at the possibilty of re-aligning the zonal areas.

Lots of work going on in the background, the ability to change your callsign prefix (YOU WILL HAVE TO APPLY FOR A ID NUMBER FOR EACH COUNTRY) when traveling between the different countries within the UK is working very well when using the Digital networks, the south west region of the UK has a network of 28 DMR Repeaters linked together, making the use of the Roaming facility within the OpenGD77 software a must activate.

A huge thanks to Roger and his team of Developers and Beta testers for all there work on this project.

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year to one and all.
