Hotspot power on 9600
Hotspot power on 9600
I recently updated my 9600 with the latest Open GD77 firmware. Since that update, the power is set to 1 watt no matter what I set the power level to using the Eexpert->MMDVMHost->Infor->Power. I tried several parameters, but no matter what I set it to it sets the radio to 1 watt.

Code: Select all
MD-9600
Power Pi-Star RFLevel
100mW 1
250mW 5
500mW 10
750mW 15
1W 20
5W 40
10W 60
25W 80
40W 99

That is what I tried, and I tried several settings; but to no avail. My current setting of 80 should be setting the radio to 25 watts, but it is only set to one watt. Is there some other parameter that I need to set? I have never had this problem before. I`ve attached a screenshot of my configuration.

Re: Hotspot power on 9600
You misread the user guide section:
You're not editing the MMDVMHost settings, but the Info.

You have to set RFLevel not Powerkg0rp wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 1:17 amThat is what I tried, and I tried several settings; but to no avail.
