GPS : Log

Hi OpenGD77 friends. I have a question about GPS : Log. On my modified DM-1701 under General options -> GPS. There are 4 Options; Off/On/NMEA/Log. The manual explains every options except “Log”. How this option works? Will it log the position in the flash memory? How to get the log out?

CPS -> Extras -> OpenGD77 Support -> Save NMEA Log

any idea how to open the .bin file? What kind of software I'm needing?

I never used it myself, but it should be readable if you rename it as *.txt or convert to *.gpx depend on the software you import the file into.
