No, I didn't backported to the test version, as I got enough feedback yet to conclude that it doesn't work.
About the GPS, you can follow the GD-77 mod, as it could use the same pin (minus the gps power, as it can't be used, as the flash light LED is using it).
Don't ask about fiting the module/antenna inside, AFAIK that's not possible.

Is this means the FED and switch is already there? If we remove the flashlight LED and use the switch for the GP-02 module, we can use SK2+5 to turn on/off the GPS module? Just wiring the data to the MCU, Vcc to where the LED get the power from, and ground.

We don't have the schematics, so you need to check the PCB for this.

Only a proposal for GD-77S improvement
Hello,
recently I got a GD-77S. I flashed OpenGD77 firmware and prepared a seperate codeplug. Thank you very much for the implementation of OpenGD77 firmware! Very amazing... But I found it was hard to program because there is no TG-list available. So all frequencies have to be programmed with an individual talkgroup (like the chinese firmware/CPSs). With adding a TG-list as an extra control menu you could choose a frequency within a zone and after selecting the TG-list menu you could step through the TGs with the rotary switch. That would be similar to the devices with a display and would be very helpful on all DMR repeater frequencies. Perhaps that could be implemented somewhere in the future if time allows it.
Thank you very much again for your excellent work!

On the radios and keyboard with display we use the arrow keys to change TG in the TG list.DF1OG wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 7:27 amOnly a proposal for GD-77S improvement

Haven't used the GD-77S but I think they have tried to do the best with the limited input functions.

You have TG-List support.
Select the "Contacts" menu, and select le contact you want to use.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your reply. I have not attched the TG-List to the channels. Now it works pretty fine. Many thanks again for your powerful work!!!
