I have three radios each with the latest OpenGD77 firmware, a GD77, a TYT UV380 and a Baofeng DM-1701. Can I use the latest CPS for all three, or do I need separate CPS programs for each radio? Do I need different versions of the CPS dependent on the date of the latest firmware for each radio?
I have searched for the answer in this forum and in the manual, but I am not having any luck. Thank you.

Which CPS?
Re: Which CPS?
CPS and codeplug are the same on all supported radio. The latest firmware date on all the radio you have mentioned are the same.
Re: Which CPS?
In addition to what KA1CM said about all supported radios using the same code plug and CPS, sometimes a newer firmware version will require a minimum CPS version to use with it - this is normally mentioned in the firmware release notice if such a requirement exists.

Re: Which CPS?
I first bought a DM1701, & installed the GD77 FW. Then a local programmed in his code plug. A week later I got a RT3S. Again I installed the GD77 FW, & wrote the saved 1701 code plug into the RT3S. This way I don’t have to save different code plugs for the different radios. GARY
Re: Which CPS?
Thank you everybody. All my firmware dates were different. I had put the test version on one radio and had a the previous version on another. My fault. I will fix that today. I did not know that the codeplugs were interchangeable. Great! This makes it much easier to keep track of three different radios. Stuart
