OpenGD77

Hi,
I want to upload OpenGD77 to TYT UV890Plus and after unpacking the donar I have two files, which one should I use? MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin or MD9600-CSV-GPS(2571V5)-P26.45.bin ???

Unzip the donor firmware zip file, extract the donor file 'MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin' and save it to your computer.

Should I load MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin but not MD9600-CSV-GPS(2571V5)-P26.45.bin ???
I'm asking because there are two identical files but one of them has "GPS" in the name....

yes, only the "MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin" file as strictly explained in the guides.

Tyt UV390 plus - after installing OpenGD77 the radio works but the Radio is not recognized in the USB connection (Windows 11) so I cannot use OpenGD77 CPS - please advise what to do?
I've been struggling with this for 3 hours now with no success.. I'm already devastated...

Do you mean the com port driver has not installed?

See the numerous posts about re-installing the com port driver

easy to fix, just leave the radio on and connected to the PC and reinstall the OpenGD77 CPS and that will also reinstall the COM port driver and will fix the issue.

Finally I somehow managed to solve this problem..

For a MD-UV390, the OpenGD77 firmware installation instructions state one should use donor firmware MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin. The official MD9600 V5 firmware contains both MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin and MD9600-CSV-GPS(2571V5)-P26.45.bin. The MD-UV390 being upgraded has GPS. Should one use MD9600-CSV-GPS(2571V5)-P26.45.bin, or use MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin, as stated in the instructions?
