How do I Hard Reset (FULL) Baofeng DM1801 with OpenGD77?
Re: Hard Reset.
in the official firmware?
with the radio off...
press and hold SK1 Key + Key 1 and turn on the radio, you will see Memory Reset? in the screen, and then confirm with Menu button and the led will flash in orange color for few seconds, and then it will be factory reset/hard reset.
in OpenGD77 firmware?
with the radio off...
press and hold the SK2 key and turn on the radio, you will see Settings Updated in the screen (that will reset settings only), and after that open the OpenGD77 CPS and write a new codeplug (that will reset the other things).

Re: Hard Reset.
Ok, I've already done this. I'm using OpenGD77 on the Baofeng DM1801. It simply doesn't communicate with the computer anymore, it's not a cable, because the same cable works and... another radio. I'd like to try a Hard Reset, just resetting the settings didn't work. Try something to get the radio to communicate with the computer again.
Maybe the right term is FULL Reset.

Re: Hard Reset.
There is no such thing in the OpenGD77 firmware, and there is no need for this.
First, give the firmware and CPS version you're using, then check if the cable is the right one, and in working condition (you will find the cabling here).
