Re: FYI - GPS

Neither would do a cold start inside from 1st floor of a two story house with aluminum siding. It's a amzing that people from the US very often refer about GPS 'indors' and 'outdoors'. Indoors, if you live in a wooden house, maybe, GPS is possible. But you can't cheat physics. Shielded is shielded....

Re: New Beta 2023 11 23

I am running Windows 10 and it installs without any problems It gets reported as a virus because it's not signed with an authentication certificate Certificates cost around $1000 per year. There is nothing we can do about this same here, no warnings & alerts during installation on Windows 10 But ch...

Re: "Prompt" to "Silent" disables all audio signalling options

I'm still waiting for custom tx and rx sounds, this would be a nice future to make beeps like motorola or hytera... Motorola & Hytera are aiming the commercial market. Truck drivers and excavator drivers, they need those sounds in their noisy environment. OpenGD77 is for Ham radio usage, written by...

Re: TYT MD-UV380 / RT-3S Installation information

In the original firmware I can listen to 2 recorded channels at the same time. But in opengd77 I can only listen to one recorded channel at the same time. Is there a 2 channel listening mode. Or is it not possible? The device is Tyt md-390. One receiver chip in the MD-390 = one channel Create a zon...

Re: Radios banned in Switzerland

All equipment declared as non-compliant by OFCOM and published on the list of non-compliant equipment may not be operated, not even by radio amateurs. I did not find this sentence in your linked paper? AFIK, Amateur Radio operators can built their own equipment and use anything, as long, as it does...

The difference is not the CPU, its the GPS.

CPU mentioned to differentiate the GPS performance between my 'new' and 'old' RT3S

Re: FYI - GPS

Can confirm, exact same situation like Lars SA0BUX has shown.
Thanks Lars for the hint.

My 'new' Retevis, using an TYT CPU, is way faster than the 'old one' using the STM CPU.

Re: Coordenadas satélite

first of all - in this forum we are using the english language only

If you look into the manual https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_Us ... r_Guide.md did you do that ? ;-)
you will find: "To change western / eastern hemisphere, press SK2 + Down / Up"
