I made refund request. does not work like manual says: -firmware upgrade mode won't work -factory reset wont work i do not knot what else is not working.. money milking machine refund and stop this behaviour other dm1801 what i have works just like manual says. i think this lastone is counterfeit it...

DM-1801 is hard to get but several sellers announce them. dissapointing.
Radioddity has GD77 on stock US and europe! i would go there.

There is that cosmetic part missing, but parts fit good to DM1801 and also GD77. if this is problem it can be altered with moderate skills.

Personally i print that batteryeliminator integrated to dashboard attachments and power splitter.

Hello Sir's I did mofify all of my three DM1801 with 16MB chips. -Backed up flash to file -just changed chip in picture to bigger one.. There is place for physically bigger chip! great! -restored backed up Flash file -loaded all availlable contact to radio Works great! Many thanks for all documents ...

Thanks for that videolink , clears up things.. same flash (bigger but not enough ). I love idea that i do not have to reduce callsign database.. just dump all in.
dm1801 seems to have pads for wider flash chip too so package size is not problem.

Lets see when chips arrive..
