Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
Interesting results, it looks like your radio does have a very high gain from the driver and PA stages. You could certainly run with a permanently reduced drive level. Looking at your graphs you could possibly go even lower than 8. There is no separate adjustment for 4FSK power. Assuming your adjus...

Feature-Request: 255 "User Power" steps
At my investigation about TX Power and calibration is had an idea. At Radio Power calibration i have to open the calibration screen change the value per frequency and write it to the flash to test is. and this many many times. This is very time intense procedure. And generates a lot of write cycles ...

Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
Can you confirm whethe you attempted to calibrate the 1W and 5W using the Calibration screen in the CPS ?? e.g. Setting the "Low power" / 1W values to 0 ? Hi Roger, i have not done any calibration so far since the padrv_ibit value change. I do not realy understand your question. Can you explain it ...

Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
chip pa - power.png i played a bit with the chip output power Possible Values: F to 0 (hex) the 3 lines are F, A and 8 (F line is missing some values :-) ) as you can see the minimum power changes (all at the same battery voltage) but the maximum output power stays the same now it is a bit of a cha...

Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
I wouldn’t waste time trying to fix something that is not broken. The radio was designed to give 1W at low power and it does that. Just because some radios can be persuaded to go lower doesn’t mean that they all can. The pa bias current output of the AT1846 (PADrvIBit) is not connected. So varying ...

Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
In the original post you said TX Power at 50mW is about 800mW This implies that you are using the 50mW setting not the -W+ setting, and that at that setting the 50mW power is outputing was 800mW I'd almost say you radio has a fault, if setting the DAC value to 0 still outputs 800mW. they are within...

Re: Power Levels vs. Battery voltage vs. dif. Radios
Hmmm, Okay. But I didn't see any DAC -> measured power list here. Also, stupid question, but what is your measurement setup ? Cheers. --- Daniel Your Question 1: Here is the link to my Results of a 2 Radio comparison: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BIisQ2_wnCAXW-N1fkb3JyWJeTVXzIKqUBxQ8dSqG...
