Re: Where to buy baofeng 1801 in EU

Hello,

yes. I'm suspicious, that it's a little bit problematic series/charge... I think, i will open up the station and make a quick check. Few HAM operators told me, that their station recieves very good/transmits good, and that it's even higher volume than Hytera for example.

Re: Where to buy baofeng 1801 in EU

I have tested both: gd77 and baofeng 1801, which wasnt mine - i think cca 3 weeks ago. Differences? Oh yes, there are quite few: - keys on a gd77 are much more cheapy look and feel than baofeng one. If you press key on gd77, you hear cheap gummy noise, baofeng doesnt have those problems - taster, pt...

Where to buy baofeng 1801 in EU

Dear All,

because of the lackage of materials, it really hard to get any new or used station on a market here in EU. Does anybody sell or have info, where to buy Baofeng 1801 here in EU, so we can avoid from China: tolls, long delivery dates etc.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

no needs to be rude or so. You have kindly asked for a help and i have kindly offered you a help and i believe it's important to test it as much as possible. In this case, we will wait for a beta stage... which will be, if it'll be.

Re: TYT MD-9600 / Retevis RT-90 : Experimental version

Hello, my name is Miha. I'm owner of GD77 station, and this firmware OPENGD77 is fantastic. I've found out, that you are developing md-9600 too. I own v3 and v4 of MD-9600 and would love to test the firmware on a station. I would love to test it. Any possibilities to push me into the developing? Bes...

baofeng 1801 vs. gd77 volume speaker

Dear all, at the moment, I have on a test Radioddity GD 77 and BAOFENG 1801 - I have the same firmware (stable) and now I have possibility to compare those two stations. I have noticed, that Radioddity is much more silent, even if i put volume up to the limit - than Baofeng, which has much louder vo...

Re: Public Beta (2022 01 09)

Hello, I did not want to be RUDE, but some people are just repating themselfs for years, probably because of their own problems beeing unsuccessful and than they regard to law or HAM spirit, or that it's not possible, even if it already is and so on - which means they do not have enough knowledge. W...

Re: Public Beta (2022 01 09)

Are you shure, because I listen RAS System, and on gd77 ;) ? Depends on how RAS works. OpenGD77 will receive all non-encrypted, audio DMR transmissions. It will not transmit any access codes or encrypted signals It's not you, but a post before from G4EML and I just can't believe, how some people ar...

Re: Public Beta (2022 01 09)

Hello,

i have tried, and RAS support works on this firmware, can anyone else confirm? The problem is, that it decodes around 60-70% of the traffic, but sometimes it messes up. Do you think it's connected to basic rx problem or to ras header?
