I have backed up all the firmware
Flash, MCU settings etc, but for the life of me I cannot get the firmware to update, when I attempt this, I simply end back at the GD77 firmware.

Programming channels I get the options to select a Power level and Squelch.
Both have the option of Master, and yet I cannot find where to set the Master level for either.

There is an option to disable timeslot filtering. This only affects receive and allows you to hear any traffic, regardless of which timeslot it is using. I am fairly new to DMR but do understand the idea of TDMA.
How when and why would I use Timeslot Disabled, if it is necessary setting?
