Not sure on the age, I will try on a different radio and see if it is still present. definitely when the backlight is on, but wasn't there in the original firmware.
i will get it back to stock and see if its still present

been doing some messing. it would appear that the buzzing appears if the screen brightness is anything other that 100%, however, when the screen is at 100% the buzzing is replaced with a high pitched tone. With the screen at less than 100% the buzzing is there until the screen goes off. When at 100%...

Audio problem
I Have flashed on to a rt82, all is working file, however I notice a buzz on the received audio which is not present on other radios. does anyone else notice this?

Has anyone got a link to donor firmware I seem to be coming up on dead ends?
Also Firmware updater is asking for MD9600 firmware is this correct? if so that seem to be coming up blank as well on TYT site
