Unfortunately I don't have VisualBasic.
(In my prior working life, I was a founder of the Eclipse development open source project).

Re: OpenGD77 v 0.0.0.1 ready for testing
Installed the Debug version, and (of course) it didn't fail. I tried it unzipped in my download folder as well as moving it into the "Program Files (x86) folder. Executes without error in both locations.
The 0.1 version appears to be complete including all language files.

Re: OpenGD77 v 0.0.0.1 ready for testing
I installed it on a machine running the prior community CPS. I use the default American English on my PC, and made no changes.
I select "Continue" on the exception dialog, and the CPS appears to continue to run without problems in English.
Difference between UK / Aus / US English configurations?

Re: OpenGD77 v 0.0.0.1 ready for testing
Running on Windows 10 Version 1909 I get an unhandled exception when starting this version of the Community CPS: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Ob...

Re: BER and Duty Cycle
When an offset has been left in the configuration (I cloned my PiStar SD card as the starting point for my OpenGD77 install) the GD77 frequency display shows the actual receive frequency as modified by the RXoffset. This typically shows a fractional frequency like 438.59985. A BER is being reported ...

Re: Latest version has been updated
I've loaded the latest Dec 2/3 version. This version leaves Pi-Star locked up in "Transmit" after transmissions originating from the VOIP infrastructure (Brandmeister). I'm also intermittently hearing repeated momentary dropout that may be related to packet size. It will run for a period of time wit...

Re: BER and Duty Cycle
Agreed... it is delivering superior results at the measured BER rates. Would there ever be a need to use RxOffset or TxOffset with the OpenGD77 configuration? I did try testing PiStar-MMDVMCal and the API it uses to control the radio is not present in OpenGD77. Is there a scenario where it would eve...

BER and Duty Cycle
I just got OpenGD77 up and running on my GD-77 radio using a Raspberry Pi 4b and PiStar R4.1.0 rc6. It's operating well and appears fully functional. I've noticed that I can still adjust RxOffset and TxOffset, and that the resulting frequency will show up on the GD-77 display confirming the frequenc...
