Can comfirm that the V2 firmware update appears to be working fine. Can`t explain why it did not work first time, other than perhaps I missed a Validation on one of the settings that I had reset. NMEA is GPS: On, plus it send the NMEA sentences to the serial port.
The GPS needs time to get a fix (and sometimes it could be looooonng).

Thanks for the heads up Daniel was not aware of that.
