Re: Read/write GD-77 codeplug in Linux in Python 3 (experimental)
In the attached version there are two changes: - Change delay in serial communications from 0.2 to 0.0 - When reading a codeplug, initialize first 0x0E bytes (which are not read nor written from/to the radio) so that CPS is happy No changes in usage, see "./GD77transfer -h". Finally got time to tes...

Re: Pre-release 22nd April
HI ! While version 20200414 did give a "swing machine" start for every DMR RX over, this pre-release works fine! Only thing that I noticed at first time was that when GD77 battery run out when left alone standing on table all settings are lost (sound, options etc.). No previous experience of running...
Re: Linux...?
HI ! I would try to do the plain uploader but I need clear explanation about: - the contents of .g77 file (file organization?) - how to initiate the transfer with GD77 (handshake?) - how to transfer data (one huge block, small blocks, bytes ?) - how to end transfer With words and flowchart. Looking ...

Re: Release 11th April
HI! Loaded 20200411 firmware (with python loader as I do not have Windows in house). Seems to work ok, but now at the start of every DMR over there is a short (~1sek) burst like fast running sewing machine that modulates the voice received. It does not break words but is disruptive. Sounds like a st...
Re: Linux...?
Any news for CPS and Linux? Finally I got new plug loaded at clubstation (they have Windoze there...). I have been playing with CPS and Wine. It works ok. I can load codeplugs from forum, watch and edit them and save then as an another codeplug to disk. Now I wonder because it is possible to load fi...

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi Daniel! There is nothing much to share. I have added few lines to end of my 92-persistent-usb.rules where I have rules for my HF rigs, CW keyer, Arduinos and ESP/ESP32 modules: # Radioddity SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="15a2", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0073", MODE="666" ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="...

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi Daniel! Once you have something ready for CPS that could work I'm willing to test it with Fedora. At the moment I'm trying to learn rig menu usage and go along with my existing codeplug. I still recall the communication with TCP option. It could resolve serial issues letting them to be solved by ...

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi Daniel! As python now works I can live with it. The mono flash tool is copied from this thread's link with LibUsbDotNet.dll. I'm not sure is it the last version. But as said python script will do... It seems that my python (2.7.17) does have the serial module installed, but the python 3.7.5 needs...
Re: Linux...?
Hi! Just started with OpenGD77 and have similar problems with CPS. There is no Windoze in house, not even media to install to virtualbox. So something is needed as the program dmrconfig ( https://github.com/sergev/dmrconfig ) does not work any more with OpenGD77 firmware. CPS starts fine with wine, ...

Re: Problem logging onto forum
Hi!
My problem seems to be that "Remember me"-keys do not work.
I have now 3 on the list, but every time I close the browser (without logout) and open again I have to log in.
Nothing is remembered nor it does not ask to save login password.
Fedora 30 / Opera 65.0.3467.48
