Re: IMPORTANT. New MD-UV380 or RT3S are not compatible

Colin and I have made some progress with understanding why the firmware will not run on the new radios The CPU in this radio does not seem to have the same number of Interrupt priorities as a genuine STM32F407 CPU. It seems to only have 8 levels of interrupt, not 16, and the operating sustem FreeRT...

Re: Test project to attempt to debug the problem with the new CPU

after a few tries, i'm stuck in tasks.c configASSERT( xReturn != errCOULD_NOT_ALLOCATE_REQUIRED_MEMORY ); which point me in FreeRTOSConfig.h to this #define configASSERT( x ) if ((x) == 0) {taskDISABLE_INTERRUPTS(); for( ;; );} If you are saying that its stuck at configASSERT( xReturn != errCOULD_N...

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

OMG. Why do people refer back to posts that are nearly a year old and wonder why they can't find the file. I remove the old CPS files to stop people using old versions of the CPS which are probably not compatibile with the current version of firmware. might have something to do with all those "how ...

Re: ReteVis RT3S displays "OpenMDUV380" on startup screen

I used OpenMDUV380.bin (as recommended in "ALPHA TYT MD-UV380 / RT-3S Installation information" above) and everything works as expected - except for one little thing. I wasn't expecting to see "MDUV380" displayed on the startup screen, and in the menu item for "firmware version". Is there a version...
