Re: Hello & Thanks
Sadly the agc didn't cure it, just increased or decreased the audio.
I've a feeling it's something at his side as the few dmr signals i've heard, simplex or via repeaters, have all been perfect...apart from his for some reason.
Thanks anyway though.

Re: UK Wide
Well that explains why i've never seen this method before, i was kind of hoping i could port this method to other sets somehow but clearly not. Very clever and user friendly way of doing things...once i'd figured it out. It'd be nice if manufacturers followed your example... I detest programming set...

Re: no comm port

Thanks for clarifying there too, although hard to believe such a fine OS could possibly be to blame....

Re: no comm port
I saw the same message a couple of times, checking device manager/ports i could see the GD77 cps had given itself a port already in use.
I just went into Advanced, changed the port number to one not already allocated & voila...the com port error vanished

Re: Hello & Thanks
Hi Colin, thanks for the info there, i think the advantages outweigh a bit of button mapping and glitches by a country mile though, I can't believe how well you guys have done with the conversion. When i got this 9600 4 or 5 years ago it took me days and days to get it usable, even simple things lik...

Hello & Thanks
So yesterday I was trying to tweak my MD9600 and stumbled across this site entirely by chance & thought i'd give the fw a try.... After quite a few false starts, I got it successfully flashed & running, what a huge difference it's made.... It's gone from a typical clunky cheap Chinese set with poor ...
