Oh jeez, that's embarrassing. My name should be Dory.
My apologies.

Re: New OpenGD77 CPS 2025 02 03
I got a new laptop so I installed CPS 2025 01 29 on it and noticed an issue with the CSV export, it's placing some sort of tab character before the RX and TX frequencies. It's confusing the heck out of Excel. I just installed 2025 02 03 and it is doing the same thing. I apologize, I don't recall wha...

Re: New MD2017/RT-82 Beta 2024 12 15
Sorry for being a bit off-topic, but what firmware are you running in your Quansheng? Is that a UV-K5(8)?

Re: Should cSx be appearing?
Ah, ok, I found what was different between the two radios. The 9600 had in Display Options the "Info" set to both and was showing cSx, the GD77 had info set to none and was showing TSx. So now my homework is to better understand the "Info" option and what TS, Pwr, and Both mean in relation to the cS...

Re: Should cSx be appearing?
I only have one codeplug file, I use it with both radios.

Re: Should cSx be appearing?
Sorry for not being more clear, my confusion is from the fact that when I set my 9600 and my GD77 to the same repeater and talk group, the 9600 shows the cSx (as the "contact" does have a TS override set) while the GD77 just says TSx like normal. I know there are some differences between the codebas...

Should cSx be appearing?
Yet another one of my patented dumb questions: One of the many reasons I love OpenGD77 is that I use the exact same codeplug for both my GD77 and MD-9600. I noticed the other day with my MD-9600 that while on a DMR repeater the time slot said "cS2" which I thought was weird, but I looked it up in th...

Re: Distance Information Display
I apologize for not explaining it very well. If a video would be helpful, let me know and I'll make one. I'm using a radio installed in my shack and it doesn't have GPS, so showing cached distances certainly isn't an issue for me. I can see however how mobile units with GPS enabled really complicate...

Re: Distance Information Display
I know this isn't particularly important but I figured I'd throw this out there just as a FYI. I have a zone full of ham repeaters, hit scan and it stops on a ham repeater. The distance says "--- km". The radio is set to scan mode: hold and roaming is set to off. I turn the knob to the left to stop ...

Distance Information Display
Am I crazy, or in the past was it possible to see the repeater distance when you hit the P2 (SK1) button when the option to display the distance in the settings was set to off? I used to have the display distance set to off since the most of the zones had names which encroached on the ability to dis...
