thanks guys - the right cable did the trick

updated the DM1701 without any issues.

I forgot that the RT3s and DM1701 can't share the same cable...

yes - I used the same cable as for the RT3s.. but now I found another cable without a label (also without FTDI adaper).

I just upgraded the CPS to the latest version (portable install & driver installation) When connecting the DM-1701 (already in Flash-Mode - LED red/green flashing) to my kenwood - USB cabel, I get the warning, that the device was not connected properly. Moreover I get a warning in the Win device-man...

was confused because on the RT3s ist "orange" + "green and on the DM1701 it is "orange" only - thats why I got confused.

This button (above the PTT) does not open the quick menu.

a) ... is there a quick menu button on den DM-1701 - like "SK1" on the RT3S? there is also no "orange" button on top. flashed the latest FW - but none of the buttons ("SK1" - "PTT" - "SK2" - "SK3" with "Green") are linked to the "Quick Menu". b) "up"/"down" buttons changes the programmed TG on the R...

... same issue here with my DM1701 - clipping the screen would be very nice. hope it will be fixed in future releases!

hi, today I have tried to install openGD77 to my second RT3S. Everything works fine, but when I upload my existing codeplug to my second RT3S the screen is blank white and I can't power off the device (have to pull the battery to turn it off). When I upload a fresh new codeplug everything works fine...
