Re: Enhancing MMDVM mode with Text/Data

Hotspot handling SMS would be a useful addition, but depending on how much extra code is needed, it may not fit in the MK22 MCU like the GD77 because of very limited remaining program ROM space. The STM32 based radios have more program ROM, and we didn't bump into any space problems yet.

Re: Enhancing MMDVM mode with Text/Data

You should contact Alex DL4LEX as he was the last person to attempt Text / SMS, but he concluded that it was too impractical to support. I can't remember why.. Possibly something to do with the multiple data standards and problems with patented encoding algorithms etc BTW. I'm not entirely sure what...

Re: New Beta 2024 04 12

Are there any known issues remaining with the build for 10w TYT UV 390 Plus? Or is it fully functional as far as we currently know? Sorry I'm new to the forum so if this is posted somewhere already I don't know where to look for it. Cheers Some people reported problems with screen brightness on the...

Re: Thank you! (DM-1701)

Hello, great job opengd77... I have a question, I have a GD77 with opengd77 firmware, good radio. What improvement does the 1701 provide? Use the same ambe+2? I bought today on AliExpress, I suppose it will arrive in 1 month, I hope it is the same or better than the GD77, already very used. Thank y...

Re: UV-390 Plus GPS 10W Screen Backlight Not Working
