While I was sleeping windows did an update to my computer :( I have heard of the latest update of Windows causing issue along these lines. If someone could point me in the correct direction of a post o...

Re: Retrofit GPS to a MD9600
Good day. I have also been using this radio for several days, I do not think that I will install GPS, the radio is installed at home and does not move, it is enough to enter the coordinates manually. Perhaps the poor reception is due to the lack of some other parts on the board, as in the md-uv 380...

Retrofit GPS to a MD9600
I thought I'd share some results of fitting a GPS module into a new MD9600 and and into an old MD9600 Both the radios didn't come with a GPS fitted. I bought some ATGM336H modules from AliExpress, which are a separate receiver PCB and small rectangular antenna. Like this module. https://www.aliexpre...

Hi, all DE Ken near Seattle. Just getting my feet wet in DMR. Looks ridiculously complex compared to DStar, but away we go. Cheers, all. Umm. I've heard that D-Star isn't that easy, and that the simplest digital mode is Yaesu System Fusion aka C4FM I think the complication with DMR is the routing t...

Re: Broken external speaker jack
While playing with external speakers, I inserted a plug into the external speaker jack whose tip turned out to be a little larger diameter than it should have been. At which point the internal speaker stopped working when no plug was inserted. The speaker itself is OK, I tested it. External speaker...

Re: New Beta 2024 10 09
Distance display is part of the Display Options
Roaming mode automatically enables distance display, but if you don't want to sort the channels, just use the distance display option..
Distance display is not new, it was in the last stable release and several months before that

Re: MD-9600 / RT-90 Installation
Now I installed the firmware. Everything seemed to go well. I manually set the frequency to 146.82, that of a nearby repeater. I could hear the usual people on that frequency. I try to transmit and the display just shows ERROR Rx Only. I can't transmit on any frequency. Someone please help. The rad...

QQ图片20240930085714.png I updated to the latest New CPS 2024 10 07 and found you aslo didn't add the label "Location" ID to the language.xml until now. QQ截图20241010185039.jpg OK grpLocation seems to be missing from the ChannelForm section e.g. <Control Id="grpLocation" Text="Location" /> I will fix ...
