With this version, at 100% the backlight don't use the PWM anymore, so it can't be brighter than that.

Yes, as whatever DMRid you define for the given radio won't be used while in hotspot mode. The SSID you define in the MMDVM config is optional, and just extra digits and not part of a DMRId as DMRId is a 24 bit value, hence the max value is 16777215 (AllCall), and relevant only if you have more than...

You're mixing things.
DRMId (while in hotspot mode) is irrelevant here, it is part of the MMDVM config, where you define it and optional SSID for the network connection.
