Re: 1701 DMR Audio

It can be bit error from the network too, especially on TG 91 where the distant part can be located almost everywhere. On a pistar hotspot you can see if it's network errors. On xlx reflectors we have ambe transcoding that can convert d-star to dmr and my experience is that such transcoding can be ...

Io questi rumori li recepisco solo sulla frequenza 431.475.
Nearby interference perhaps?

Re: 1701 DMR Audio

Do you have any other DMR radios. Are you listening to a hotspot or a repeater and on which network. Strange noises are not uncommon on DMR and are generally a result of bad network connectivity but can also be caused by hotspot calibration errors Thanks for your reply. I don’t have any other DMR r...

1701 DMR Audio

Firmware Version : 20231231192808 I’m new to DMR so it could be user error, but some stations present with loud crackles and pops on their audio, whilst others are fine. These issues appear at random. I’ve tried adjusting the AGC in the sound option but anything >3dB is too harsh, AGC off or 0dB is ...

In the manual on page 1 it lists from the top of radio: SK1, PTT, SK2 and SK3

Re: Changes to Theme 1701

Thanks for your reply.

SK2 + Green doesn't work on my radio. I tried this several times. I changed in CPS in the end.

I discovered SK3 + Green makes theme changes permanent on my radio. So my buttons appear to be different. Anybody else have this issue?

Changes to Theme 1701

In the manual: press the green button to apply theme changes, but changes are temporary. To set changes to permanent: press the green button + SK2. This does not work as upon radio power cycle, off/on, changes revert back to where they were previously.
