I'm starting a separate thread in case anyone else has the same question...
Is the source code for the new CPS available anywhere for those of us who wish to build our own?

Re: Build assistance
In fact, you just need to unzip both source and buildtools zip files in the same directory, and the OpenGD77 source subtree is ready (except the two blobs). As Roger said, better off using the Open<PLATFORM>.bin (it might be identical to firmware.bin, but not in every cases). Thank you very much!

Re: Build assistance
Thank you -- I'm fine with creating the files.
I also had to drop the "tools" directory from OpenGD77_buildtools into /firmware so that the post-build step would complete and create OpenGD77.bin
Is that last step required now, or should I just be using firmware.bin?

Thank you to Roger and the other developers who have resurrected this project and implemented an elegant solution to deal with the CODEC issue.

Build assistance
I'm very happy to see that this project continue. Being able to compile my own firmware and experiment with it is awesome. I just downloaded the latest code (29 May 2021) and it won't build. It still seems to be looking for two binary files, but I understand from the forum that the binary no longer ...

Re: Licence change?
I downloaded a copy of the OpenGD77 firmware dated April 3, 2021. As per the GPL-2 licence, I request a copy of the source code used to compile that version. Hi Eric, I have a clone of the code Roger uploaded to comply with my own request here: https://github.com/ajorg/OpenGD77 Thank you, much appr...

Re: Licence change?
Hello, I intended to take a softer tone, but since Roger has deleted most of the source code from the OpenGD77 repo, I suppose I'll have to make my request here. Re: Licence change?
Thank you very much for your response. I'm sad and disappointed to hear that the latest firmware has become closed-source. I really enjoyed being able to build and tweak my own firmware. It was a strong step forward for amateur radio. While it is certainly your right to write your own code and disse...
