Re: Help for Blank White Screen

There is also a second ribbon cable from the front panel to the screen itself. Sometimes that needs to be reseated.

Re: UV390 Charger TP5100 Mod not working

Just to confirm, make sure that you have configured the TP5100 for two cell operation. Normally done by shorting a link on the module. Without that link it will only output 4.2 V.

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the front panel cable? A bad connection could cause spurious keyboard signals.

Re: MD9600 no RX/TX

That's good news. The markings on the board can't really be relied upon. Our definition of V2, V4 , V5 is only something we invented for our own use. The manufacturers don't seem to identify the different versions. The differences are in the synthesiser chips and the IF chips, so only the correct ve...

Re: Probable bug in OpenGD77

It is a hardware problem. We have proved that the HRC6000 is not good at decoding the signal when operating in AF mode. There are many settings for the AT1846S and the HRC6000. Many are not documented and we don't know what they do. There may be other settings that would affect reception but finding...

Re: Baofeng DM-1701 reboot when try to write contact list

I don't see any error. I think the behaviour is normal.
Why do you think it is not working?

Re: Making a DMR repeater work on MD-UV380

I have just loaded your codeplug into my MDUV380 and tested it on GB7HR. All is working as expected. Your channel TG23550 ScotChat is configured correctly. I also tested on the Echo channel TG 9990 on Slot 2 and the echo back was good. So, if you are not able to access GB7HR from your location it is...

Re: Making a DMR repeater work on MD-UV380

GB7HR sends a DMR beacon every minute. So if you listen to the output frequency on FM you should hear the buzz of the signal at least once per minute. If you don't hear it then you are either out of range or you have the wrong frequency selected. You can upload a codeplug by selecting attachments at...

Re: Making a DMR repeater work on MD-UV380

You didn't confirm if you can hear the repeater in FM mode.

If you post your codeplug here I will check it and test it.

Re: Making a DMR repeater work on MD-UV380

Just press SK2 + * to set the radio to FM and listen. You should hear the buzz of the DMR signal and see the signal strength. GB7HR has the Motorola roaming beacons turned on so it transmits for a few seconds every minute even when there is no other traffic. I am within range of GB7HR and have just ...
