Re: Anyone interested in Windows builds of MMDVMHost?
Why did you comment out the local port under [dmr network] stanza?

Re: Private calls monitor
I wonder how BM determines someone as impersonating another user, as opposed to someone testing the radio using another's Hotspot or another dmr id. I mean with custom firmware it's very easy to change ids.

Re: OpenGD77 with BlueDV for Windows
For bridging between DMR and Fusion/D*Star, use DVswitch, MMDVMHost and AnalogBridge on a $5/month server. I don't use dongles, since you can install md380-emu (I'm in doubt as to the licensing implications).

Re: 1801 battery
As stated by N1KY, the stock firmware does have some optimizations that result in near zero current draw during standby, which is not yet achieved by openGD77. It does compensate by allowing you more granular power output during transmit, with a 50 milliwat minimum. That should give you enough power...

Re: Side project: Setting up DVSwitch Mobile with DVSwitch server
An update: I made a guide on how to build several instances of the DVSwitch server: https://n2rac.com/dmr-digital-amateur-radio-setup-several-instances-dvswitch-server-3694caaf6bf1 One DVSwitch instance can only support one user at a time (multiple users get kicked out), so you need one instance eac...

Re: Access DMR TG over different DMR repeaters and settings
Seems to me the TimeSlot 2 in each of these repeaters is a "local" one which is not connected to the Internet. What I would do is save these contacts Metro System Wide TG: 444 Timeslot: 1 Local TG: 9 Timeslot: 1 Parrot TG: 9998 Timeslot: 1 I will want to know the TalkGroup number that the clubs use ...

Re: Side project, "DMR Station" network radio
For any other system, I would do
cd /var/lib/mmdvm
and then
wget https://ham-digital.org/status/DMRIds.dat
to get the latest daily update from ham-digital.org.

Great. I can share some details with you. You need MMDVMBRidge and DVSwitch running on a server. I have 3 ports on my servers for use
You can telegram me at @jangelor or email qsl@n2rac.com for details

Side project: Setting up DVSwitch Mobile with DVSwitch server
I'm a fan of finding alternate ways to get "on the air" on the digital talkgroups. I've built several analog-to-digital bridges, and I've always wanted to find a way to dynamically access talkgroups straight from a smartphone or other mobile device. I like EA3IHI's DMR Station . However I don't have...
