I have never seen anything in the specs regarding time. So I am pretty sure it is not sent anywhere.

OK I have never noticed that.
It’s just that the original question was talking about the ‘Opening CW ID’ which I read as the power on tone which could sound like TAA to some ears.

Are you talking about the CW that is sent when you first power on the radio? That is <CT> which signifies the start of a message. I am assuming that is why it was chosen for the power up sound. Power is set by holding down the side Blue button and using the left and right arrows.
