Re: Non-ascii characters garbled in CPS UI
UTF-8 in channel names seems to corrupt other data such as frequencies when doing a csv import.

Re: Baofeng DM-1701: diagram of the 2 speaker-mic pin
And then, because your "Retevis RS111" has the "k" connector, I should think my DM-1701 has something wrong ... ... even if, as I wrote, I can use the "OpenGD77 CPS" program very well with it. Many thanks SA0BUX Is it something working with the mike? Speaker? PTT button? What happens if you press P...

Re: Baofeng DM-1701: diagram of the 2 speaker-mic pin
Can't test with my speaker-mic until next week, I know it works with Anytone 878UV+ and Retevis RT3S, can't remember I tried on the DM-1701/RT84. Many thanks, SA0BUX. I tested the wiring connection from the "K" connector and the internal pins of my "Shoulder Speaker Mic", and all was ok. If your "K...

Re: Odd CTSS decode issue
Could be good to check the frequency calibration too, if radio is off it can also result in cuts when they modulate heavily. So I know just enough about electronics to be dangerous but not helpful. Are there any guides that I could try to follow to accomplish this? I also assume I'll need access to...

Re: Odd CTSS decode issue
Thanks for the response! I've been listening a bit more lately and that same guy on the same repeater cuts out the same way every time on the MD-9600, but not on the GD-77. I've now found a second guy on a different repeater who has his audio cut out for about 3 seconds every 20 seconds or so. As b...

Re: SM-land codeplug (Sweden)
Yes, this is a known issue in the OpenGD77 CPS. The label texts are converted to a chinese character set in the GUI, however importing UTF-8 from CSV works fine as you have witnessed. I have reported this bug here: https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3625&p=28295 Please feel free to chime...

Re: Hello from the Isle of Man
I am having difficulty getting a windows 11 PC to connect to a DM-1701. PCS doesn't offer a com port to connect to although you can see it as a digital radio attached to a USM port under device manager. I see some other people have had this issue but I don't see an obvious solution. Install the Win...
