Re: Changing channels with different Rx group lists

People have designed their codeplugs around the flexibility of the existing system and how it tries not to reset the contact index unless absolutely necessary Just wondering... Do you really arrange your codeplug that way? Different contact lists respecting order of each other and having different ...

Re: Changing channels with different Rx group lists

Just to mention one more consequence of mixing apples with pears: Consider my example from the first post. Let's have 16 apples and 32 pears. Selecting Apple16 (one button press) on Channel1 and then switching to Channel2 then needs at least 15 presses to get Pear1, or getting back to Channel1, swit...

Re: Changing channels with different Rx group lists

Maybe the solution could be a check if the contact has changed on the contact index when the channel was changed (and is DMR mode). If yes, reset the index to the first contact in the associated list. That works for all scenarios I hope. My Home zone, and I believe it's not a rare case, looks like t...

Re: Changing channels with different Rx group lists

Resetting the Contact index to the first Contact in the TG List when you change channel, would considerably affect anyone who can access multiple repeaters on the same network, and wants to change repeaters but stay on the same Contact / TG. As they would need to change the contact every time they ...

Changing channels with different Rx group lists

Hello, I'm not sure whether this is a bug or feature, anyway it seems not intuitive to me. Let's have contact groups: Group1: Apple1, Apple2, ... Group2: Pear1, Pear2, ... Let's have Channel1 assigned Rx group Group1 and Channel2 assigned Group2. Selecting contact Apple2 in Channel1 and then switchi...

Changing the squelch level

Hello, when changing a channel (or power-cycling) and then trying to change the squelch level, after first Left/Right press the current level is shown and not changed. This is inconsistent with the VFOs, where even the first press changes the squelch settings. Moreover, once changing the level and e...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

CSS voice follow-on is back and I've noticed some other improvements, thank you again. Just a detail. I don't know, how the Radio Information screen looks like, but according the voice prompts there are three pages (when arrowing through): battery Status, temperature and battery status again. Does t...

Re: Last Heard, PC and timeslots

Super fast fix, thank you.

And my first question please? How does the Last Heard screen and the green button work? When does it set PC ID and when TG? Etc.

Last Heard, PC and timeslots

Please, how does the Last Heard screen work exactly? User guide says: "Pressing the Green key will set the selected station DMR ID as the new PC / TG contact." I'm able to set the last heard station as PC contact, but when is it set as TG? Is there a way to "copy" the last heard TG when I'm not so q...

Re: RSSI read=out

... habet ... Okay, and voicing the RSSI while the SK1 is pressed? (without the "S" repeated each time) Imagine you need to find a suitable antenna position having a limited time of the repeater carier. In FM mode you'd simply search for the lowest noise. But what to do in DMR mode when you cannot s...
