Re: Adjusting the RX frequency, independent of the TX frequency

For satellite operation, is there any benefit to step the Tx and Rx frequencies in opposite directions. Yes, there's a benefit. But the oposite adjustment needs to be band proportional. That means, tuning up Rx on 70cm having Tx on 2m needs tune down Tx by third of the Rx step, but tuning up Rx on ...

Re: Adjusting the RX frequency, independent of the TX frequency

That function could be added, but there would need to be a User Interface to control the locking mode between Rx and Tx. I guess this would need to be added to the Options menu, perhaps "T/R F Lock:On" or "T/R F Lock:Off" Thank you. Before I asked here, my first intuitive try was to press SK2+Up, a...

Adjusting the RX frequency, independent of the TX frequency

Hello, the documentation says: "If different TX and RX frequencies are set, and the currently selected input is set to RX, changing the RX frequency will also change the TX frequency, and the difference between the RX and TX frequency will be maintained if possible." Please, is there any way to lock...

GD77S basic settings (RFC)

Hello, I think some configuration would be useful also on GD77S. I miss mainly the default squelch values and mic. gain, but also some others... I have a proposal (request for comments), which looks simple and shouldn't be difficult to implement: SK2 + Orange opens menu with: - Options _ Sound Optio...

Re: Current code base

Please, as the development calmed a bit, can you publish the current code now?
It is very divergent from the opened stage already...

Thank you really very much.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Also we are also aware that on Dual Watch, with the Voice Prompt level 3 enabled, when the Dual Watch stops because a signal is received, the radio should perhaps announce the current frequency, but it does not do this at at the moment. I am not totally certain, that the radio should announce the f...

Current code base

Hi Roger, please, where can I find the current code base? It seems to me the source provided with the (pre)release assets is the same as on Github, which seems to be updated just partially. I think I saw somewhere your post you wouldn't publish changes for some time, but during last month the curren...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

... and also FM squelch control has been added to the GD77S version (for FM channels) Hi, thank you very much for this. Finally I flashed a new firmware to my GD77S and have two notes: 1) When traversing to the squelch mode (by orange presses) it announces also the channel name as "Squelch mode OK)...

Re: New Stable Release - 31st Sept 2020

* Added FM mode voice prompt with instant playback on level 3. DMR mode could not be added on any playback threshold, because when switching to DMR the TG is already voiced, so since TG's are only applicable to DMR channels, voiceing DMR is redundant and superfluous Hi Roger, In my case the channel...
