Re: GD77 OPENING TONES
38,6 = dash 0,2 = internal pause 38,2 = dot 0,6 = interchar pause 0,7 = interword pause (unused) Thanks for the cheat sheet on the code. I made mine but would like it prof read. My bad eyes hurt when trying to read all these numbers. Think I got my call done correctly. ki4gst 38,6,38,2,38,6,0,6,38,...

Re: Implementing some missing features
Hi! I would like to ask, whether there is a plan to implement some features which are still missing in the current version, for example: - Storing the power setting per channel. Very handy! Let's imagine you are alternating between a repeater far away from you and a local hotspot. You need 5W for t...

Re: [Bootscreens and Melodies] Post your creations here.
Image format is 1bit png. Image size is 128x64 pixels. You can clear it by selecting Boot Item in the OpenGD77 CPS. Then change the Intro Screen from "Picture" to "Char String". Thank you. Here is what I made for my radio. I found the tower clip art from google. 9BB967A5-B5FE-4C22-B036-5AAB8A105193...

2 questions.
What are the requirements for the boot screen?
Also let’s say you no longer want the image on your radio how to clear it?

The development version has been updated * RD-5R display fixes (Thanks to Daniel) * Low battery sound and voice prompt, when battery voltage falls below 6.8V (below 20%) * Battery percentage voice prompt, by pressing SK2 + Orange. Note. The existing undocumented PC only mute feature that was toggle...

Re: Hello from Virginia
No need to go to github, the standalone loader and the loader in the CPS both automatically download from github Sadly not for me. I’m a Mac user so I’m having to run the software under a very out of date version of windows in a virtual machine. With internet access to the VM blocked. Which is ok I...

Re: Hello from Virginia
Welcome... BTW. I'm working on the problem with the difficulty in knowing the battery level, Low Batter warning audio prompt and beeps will be added today, and I'm working on a button sequence (probably SK2 + Orange) to immediately announce the battery percentage). Unfortunately most other / easy b...

Hello from Virginia
Hello every one just registered to say hi and thanks for the open GD77 firmware. It really makes the GD-77 friendly to us visually impaired Hams.
