Greetings from north of Rhineland/Palatinate

Post by DB9NFB » Sat Dec 07, 2019 6:10 pm

Hi, my Name is Sascha, [Call: DB9NFB] working in Cologne [Germany]. My (Home)-QTH is about 60km in direction ESE of cologne in the north of "Rhineland/Palatinate". For a long time the GD77 was laying in the drawer as a backup, however now with the openGD77 firmware and simplified Codeplug it is in "daily" use again. Now it is definitively more fun, handling with it. So thank you for giving an new live to this handheld radio device!
I 'll try to keep up with the new developments, when I have spare time and possibility ;)

I think many people have the same experience.

For me I was always hacking the GD-77 even before the OpenGD77 was developed
