I was first licensed in 1954. I have held the callsigns WN4BQP, W4BQP, DL4AQ and WA2PRT. I have had license classes from Novice to Amateur Extra. I have built the majority of my equipment. I have used most modes of communication except for ATV and moonbounce. When something new comes along I usually give it a try. DMR using a Radioddity RD-5R is my most recent endeavor. I live in a small town outside Charlotte, NC.
