I got my upgrade to extra class in Feb of this year. I also decided to give DMR a try and got great deal on the GD-77 HT and installed the GD77Open firmware on it. Very happy with it.
Then there was the big issue with open source copyright stuff. I checked back and I see there seems to be a path forward now. That is great, but I need to get up to speed on how and where do I keep in sync with things. I understand there is new CPS that in needed and different process to update the firmware that requires using some part of the original firmware at update process.
If anyone can point me to a concise write up and resource listing I would be most grateful.
