OpenGD77

Hi all,

Looking at the GD-77, not purchased one yet. Fairly new to Ham and to DMR. I do have a working TYT MD390UV, but disappointed that there aren't custom firmware options for it (as there are with the single banders).

The firmware source code is available.
If anyone wants to create their own single band option, they could do that. But I can't see a Ham radio reason to limit the functionality of the radio

In most countries its illegal to use these radios for anything other than Ham radio, becuase by replacing the official firmware, it no longer has any FCC etc approvals.
