There is not much scope for further development on the GD77 / DM1801 / RD5R hardware platform, because of hardware limitations.
There is also very little program space remaining in the ROM

Versions that run on other older radio hardware for which there are publicly available schematics and data sheets for the ICs, and where the bootloader encryption has already been cracked may be possible.

But newer radios are unlikely to be supported because of enhanced bootloader encryption and no data sheets etc for the ICs
