Hi,
I am a HAM since 1985, but was AFK for some 20 years. Now happened to be given a TYT MD-9600 (GPS), that was never used (except that the original reseller applied a basic codeplug).
I am now building up knowledge on DMR and MD9600 slowly. I found a lot of stuff and now stepped on this forum.
Technically the radio is HW V1, likely completely unmodified.
Firmware has been updated to official 6.09 with 100,000 contacts and GPS. But OpenGD77 looks much more promising.
