[Unconfirmed] Dual-slot monitoring not working?

Post by G4KWT » Mon Feb 08, 2021 1:41 pm

Hi

The dual-slot monitoring (TS Filter:Off) does not appear to be working?
TS2 comes though OK but not TS1.

Haven’t tried that specific version but latest ‘eco’ version is definitely working.

I can confirm that it works via Pi-Star MMDVM Duplex on both my RD-5R and my GD-77.

TS1 is blocked with TS filter on and comes through when filter is turned off.

I just today found out about this OpenGD77 firmware and loaded it on both radios today. Its gonna be some time before I am able to wipe the smile off of my face.

Many thanks for the replies - it looks like it should work with the
OpenGD77 version that I am using.

I am using a Pi-Star Duplex HotSpot.

Is there a setting in Pi-Star that might influence this?

You need to give more details about why you think its not working.

We had reports of TG filtering not working, but it transpired that the operator expected all the static TG they had setup to be transmited by their hotspot, on the same TS, and for the radio to filter out which one they wanted to listen to.

But the hotspot can only transmit one TG per TS, and if you assign multiple static TGs to your hotspot in the same TS, the server decides which one it will send you.

Your case sounds different, but is also possibly related to static routes for each TS.
