Not that it is in the firmware and works for others. Can this also be my 5 euro walki talki

The hardware (AT1846S RF Chip) in the GD-77 does not allow accurate detection of Tone.

The Tone selection width is about +/- 5Hz, so depending on the quality of the signal, whether the chip detects the exactly the correct tone

Are you saying that receiving a signal, that after the radio detects a tone, then the radio is not able to receive the signal being transmitted with that tone ?
